In the picture there is composition in each square except for one. There is the main flower where two lines meet. The focus of the photo is not in the middle. It is off center. http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_6ItXKMb63_Q/TT3ixI4YRzI/AAAAAAAAHKA/6ZAicn0Xr Co/s640/ruleofthirds3.jpg Leading the subjectThe lines in the photo lead your eye this subject of the photo, the lighthouse. The town on the horizon line leads you the eye to the subject. The light from the lighthouse leads your eye to the subject on the photo.

The focus can be seen through the natural framing of the rock. The mountains are the subject not the ice climbers.
http://284334photo.wikispaces.com/Design+Principles Visual PersepctiveThis is an example of forced visual perspective. The man can't really low his friends over. However in the picture he accomplishes this bally standing closer to the camera. While his friends stand farther away.
http://smileq8dotcom.wordpress.com/tag/awesome/page/2/#jp-carousel-3240 repitition of shapesThis is a good example of repition of shapes because spheres are represented in all aspects of the photo. The color helps you see each invidual sphere.

Does not fill the frameThis picture below is about a race with three different motorcycles. This picture could have filled the frame better if it was cropped so that only the two motorcycles in the front were pictuerd.
http://www.boston.com/community/photos/raw/STOP_FirstImage.jpg Visual center of interest (poor)This is a bad example because there is too much going on. The viewer's eye is not drawn to one specific place.
http://www.appalachianfestival.net/images/8%20Car%20Show.jpg Rule of Thirds (or Poor)The picture in the horizon is a bad picture because the hoizon line is not on either of the horizontal lines. The horizon is in the middle of the photo. The photo will be using the rule of thirds if it was cropped so that the horizon matches up with one of the horizontal lines.
